Question:

Can i charge my power bank battery in a power outlet?

I recently bought a 'KOCASO' 2600mAH Power Bank. It's currently empty. It says on the manual that i need to connect it to the computer to let it charge. But can i just directly charge it to the power outlet? Since i have an USB AC Power Charger Adapter (from my iphone) can i just connect it to that and charge it to an outlet?More Details about my Power bank: (in case you ask) [according to the manual]Cell type: Li-ion battaryOutput Voltage:5.0 + - 0.2VInput Voltage:5.0 + - 0.2VOutput current: lt;/ 1AInput Current:: lt;/ 1ACapacity: 2600mAHCharge Time: Around 5 hrs (when charging, Red light means charging, Blue light means Fully charge)Dimension: 92*22mmWeight: 73gOperating temperature: -10-40 C

Answer:

You can charge the power bank by USB adapter . From the instructions in manual , the output is 5V ,2A . So if you can charge power bank by standard power (5V,2A) , it 's better .
If your charger has a 5 V d.c. regulated output and a connector compatible with the power bank's, yes, you could charge it without using your PC.
I think maybe you should plunge your USB into the Inlet to charge your power bank.
