Question:

Can I clean a refrigerator water tube with white vinegar?

I went on vacation a year ago for two weeks and came home to a refrigerator that no longer has a working water spout. The ice machine still works and the the motor comes on when I place a glass under the water spout bit no water comes out? I do have hard water. Could it be blocked from calcification? I figure vinegar is my last hope. Please help.

Answer:

Yes. That would be your safest option, other than getting the plumber out.
Vinegar will not harm the system, the defect is blocked pipe line, this need to be rectified, the best and simple solution will be to get a handy man familiar with fridge, this will solve You a lot of frustration. although saving is important but guess in this it cannot be avoided, best of luck
some thing wicked has discovered its way into the cracks. I had a freezer like this; I have been given it outdoors and presented it to Mr. Gardenhose. as quickly as i become able to get it fairly moist and scrub it, i found diverse the stains basically got here approximately to examine the paint (milk). as quickly as I have been given to scrubbing, the scent went away. The door might have old stuff in the joints, cabinets and liner (everywhere in the outlet). the lining frequently comes off particularly incredibly and can harbor lots of junk in the folds. If that's a summer time domicile, evaluate that a sparkling, small refrigerator isn't very costly. I admit getting the ingredient outdoors become complicated. yet i could stand the scent available and get lots of water on it and that incredibly become an asset. in line with threat a great fan and great sloppy sponge might do a typical activity, too. there's a drip tray below that would get stinky; sparkling that too.
check where the water fills the ice maker and see if the plastic tubing if blocked with ice,if it is remove and run hot water over it and reinstall it.loosen the line to the water valve on the bottom in the back of the frig,if you get no water then the supply valve is clogged.make sure the water valve is plugged in.the other thing is you might have a bad ice maker water valve
