I went on vacation a year ago for two weeks and came home to a refrigerator that no longer has a working water spout. The ice machine still works and the the motor comes on when I place a glass under the water spout bit no water comes out? I do have hard water. Could it be blocked from calcification? I figure vinegar is my last hope. Please help.

check where the water fills the ice maker and see if the plastic tubing if blocked with ice,if it is remove and run hot water over it and reinstall it.loosen the line to the water valve on the bottom in the back of the frig,if you get no water then the supply valve is clogged.make sure the water valve is plugged in.the other thing is you might have a bad ice maker water valve
