I have a HP 2009m LCD monitor. My cable box is a Explorer 3200. What cables do I need for this?

The way signals are processed by a monitor and a TV are different. You'd need a converter box between the cable box and the monitor.
The HP 2009m monitor can be connected to a digital HD cable box.
