i have a 93 toyota pickup that the wiring harness is badwell i was thinking about getting one from a 2wd toyotawill this work if i got all the wiring harness and ecu from the 2wd?? and if so what wont work besides the 4x4 glowing in the dash?

lots of harnesses. got a specific one in mind? or all of 'em? generic, to answer the Q, if you have an auto locker, ADD, it won't work. or you'll have to satisfy the ecu. and of coarse, needs to be same engine and transmission (auto/manual) config. including fuel delivery system. the V6 auto trans employs a VSS. so which also does the speedo via the ecu. and so the instrument cluster is different between auto V6's and anything else in this gen.
It should work but if not go to any mechanical store and purchase the wiring harness
Which harness? The engine bay harness itself, from engine to firewall, should be fine. A 2wd body and dash harness will not have a provision for 4WD, sodon't try that.
