I have used one piece soft flexible copper pipe underground with no joints or fittings underground. I've had no problems in 10 years.
Yes copper pipe 'type n' is suitable but I would still wrap it in insulation. It won't last as long as CPVC though. 1. Yes standard lead free solder is fine. 2. Grounding the pipe is not a bad idea, but I don't think it's necessary. By this I mean bonding it to your electric panel. It's all ready grounded by being underground. 3. Consider using CPVC I just think it's a better product. Copper tends to get pin hole leaks after about 7 years.

According to the code book, copper piping is no longer acceptable for LPG. It has to be either steel or PE.
