Question:

Can Mice Get To Upstairs Areas, Or Chew Through Dry Plaster?

I live in an upstairs apartment, and my wall is made of dry plaster, or something hard, so could mice get to an upstairs apartment, or chew through my wall? I'll appreciate any feedback.

Answer:

Your friend's lying to youOfficially old USA flags are burned in special ceremonies by Scouts, although in reallity most of them are just dumped in household waste.
I'm getting choked to death with the amount of patriotic fervor Americans have.
Mice and rats can chew their way through anything but hard metalsSteel wool can be used to block an opening/hole, but I've had that failThey'll also chew through aluminum foilIf you've got something tempting out to attract the mice, like crumbs or food, they will make their way into your apartment if they want toThe easiest way is under sinks where there's openings for the pipesThey also like to come in from the cold, so if it's cold elsewhere, and your apartment is nice and warm, you could end up with unwanted visitors as wellNow to calm your nerves - most likely there's enough warmth and food on the first floor of your building to keep them busy for a while before they consider moving upstairsbut I lived on a second floor when the entered my condo through the bathroom cabinet and had to seal off the walls with galvanized steel sheets.
