The S designation such as S4,S6,S8 is Audi factory performance car line, much the same as BMW has the M seriesThe S-LINEA4 designation on Audi cars is not the same having an S4The S-Line cars, are A4's in S4 clothingThey have much the same cosmetics of the S4, minus the v8, and other performance enhabcements of the true S cars
