Question:

Can someone solve this very hard math question?

A storage silo on a farm has the shape of a cylinder with a radius of 8 meters and a height of 20 meters. What is the volume of the silo?

Answer:

πr?h = π8?*20 = 1280π ? 4021 m?
PI*Raius^2*Height btw -- D.W. approximation below is better -- i believe because of the better use of a value for PI (ie. 3.14 is not a great choice when you are multiplying by 1280)
The formula for volume of a cylinder is Pi r^2 x h 3.14 x 8^2 x 20 =v 3.14 x 64 x 20 = v 4019.2 cubic meters
The volume of a cylinder is pi*r^2 * h. So, V = pi * (8^2) * 20 V = 4019.2
