74 year old diabetic womanI have had this before where even if it is hot outside, i will be inside cold and have to wear a heavy sweater and have the heater blastingI cannot seem to get warm at allI drink hot drinks and it doesn't help much, i will walk around try to get my blood pumping and cannot warm up and i have also lay down in bed with layers of blankets on me and still be coldWhat is wrong with me? I have tried looking for answers, but have nothing to showI have taken my temperature and its a little lower than normal but nothing so drastic that it would effect anythingI don't understandI live in CaliforniaIs this the diabetes? I have had it for 50 years.
Depends, snow is a good insulator, but it's wet, so make you're house of tinfoil (to reflect body heat), and live below ground, is my suggestion.
Under ground shelters offers better insulation- climate change protection - bomb shelter - tornado shelter - great insulation factor - constant shelter temperature - in a reasonable depth (5 to 100m) temperature is close to the average through the year - in winter subsurface is warmer, - in summer surface is warmerand more
My guess would be poor circulationBetween aging and diabetes your circulation is going to be waaay less than stellar at this pointAre your extremities colder than your torso? See your doctor (either your regular physician or your diabetic specialist) and ask what you can do to help.
