recently i seen chronicle and it would be the BEST thing in the world if its possible to do. if its possible i would really practice and do alot of research on it, but if its not possible i dont want to waste my time...
hey peace to you brothers. And i agree this whole randi thing is out of control. you people quote it like a bible verse it's quite irritating. I myself question the validity of his research? no not even so. I call it a mockery of scientific inquiry. Simply a view into all that is skepticism. No one has gotten anywhere from Skepticism, but then again ignorance is bliss...
hmmmm..... Is it possible? If folks are going to use the James Randi foundation's $1,000,000 prize as an empirical measure for the existence of telekinetic phenomena, then I don't know what is empirical anymore. There WERE a series of studies done with a lady by the name of Nina Kulagina in the 60s under supposedly controlled conditions. James Randi was quick to debunk and offer an alternative explanation for her supposed telekinesis. Yes, there are people out there trying to fool others and make a little dough on the side. NO, not all of these people are tricking you. As to date there has been no compelling evidence for the existence of this phenomena, but again I ask, if you're using Mr. Randi's sweepstakes as a measure for it, how can you really know? All he has done is offer alternative explanations and not take time to investigate whether the phenomena is possible. There are many anecdotes of people having these abilities. Perhaps stories coming from Tibetan monasteries or holy men in the mountains, but I doubt these folks are gonna take the bait from Mr. Randi's million dollar offer. If I ever encounter impossibilities in the scientific arena I always think of how many things were impossible a few hundred years ago. The world used to be flat, men were stuck to the ground for all eternity, and the Earth revolved around the sun. I would suggest you do your own research and come to your own conclusions. I believe that nothing we do in this life is a waste of time and we can always learn from every choice that we make. If you keep at it for a while and it doesn't work, you've learned something valuable. If you keep at it and it works, you've learned something valuable. Both experiences will lead you along a different path in life, but it is up to you. Namaste. :)
First off, it's possible but way further down in the timeline as far as human development is concerned. Actually, we previously had telekinetic abilities, but lost them during the medieval times. If we observe ancient writings, and scripture, we may be able to find a way to use it. And, actually, in medieval times, the shinobi in japan still had those abilities.
Waste of time. Since 1964 the James Randi Educational Foundation has offered a prize, presently $1000000, for anyone who can display any sort of telekinesis or paranormal ability. They have never had to pay out because it doesn't exist.
It IS real! No matter what these other people may tell you. There will always be skeptics. Telekinesis is a very expansive power and is VERY COOL! Don't worry, soon you'll be hearing about some girl who can do it and is finally coming out about it on National news and let me tell you... it WILL BE THE REAL DEAL. (News doesn't lie)
