an unblemished better than a wheelbarrow load of sweet potatoes? Large pumpkins, luscious heirloom tomatoes, on and on! Then before going out to the garden the first lady demonstrates to the women and the children that you must first select just the right wardrobe, and sit for an hour or more in make-up, revealing only to the perceptive and uncharmed that it is not about the garden so much as it is about the first lady and her compulsive and insecure need to be admired and adored!
There are many more important issues to think about than the first lady encouraging at home gardening. She's doing a good job getting people interested in gardening, if she dresses nice, good for her. Should she skip her shower and come to the garden with a dirty dress on, would that make you happy?
