I have a 13 year old, an a 10 year old, both boys. My 13 year old, yells at me, doesn't do most of the things I ask him to do, he argues with me, slams the doors when he don't get his way. I am a single mom, an they both seem to just walk all over me. Are they to old for a spankin? I have never really spanked them, and sure that might be the problem, but I just never believed in it. My 10 year old is great when its just me an him, an baby. But, when big brother is around he just follows right behind him. My 13 year old has went from a honor roll student last year to d's an f's this year. We do have home counseling, but its not helping me any. Any suggestions??
