Answer:

For oil id say Redline Oils in the 50 weight for my race car, but that stuff is EXPENSIVE But for the daily driver Castroll GTX or penzoil 10w40 are great oils For a Battery im going to go with interstate batterysgreat warrenty and a great batter For Brake pads, that depends, for my car i ussualy go with something ceramic from brembobut when price is an issue or if im working on someone elses car that doesnt get beat on i just get some napa Tru-stop brake padswhen i need parts i go to Napathe prices are good the people are good and i buy so much stuff there i get a discountAnd if you buy enough stuff theyll deliver it to your shop!
Kind of prejudicial working at a dealer nowfavorite oil: Motorcraft, Castrol, Valvoline,Quaker State, Pennzoil But in my GM, I'm running Quarker State 10w30, My Ford runs Motorcraft 5w20 semi-synthetic (Older stuff I love 10w30, newer stuff 5w30 unless it calls for 5w20 from the factory) Battery: For Fords, I'll go with motorcraft and duralast For others I find NAPA batteries as well as diehards last real long in them Brake Pads: Raybestos, Motorcraft, Bendix,Wagner, and NAPA ceramics Best place to get parts: other than the dealer, find NAPA and O Reily abou the best for professional techFind I have to lower my level of talking to talk to someone at say Autozone(Is that a 4 or 6 cyl? after I told them 3 times it's a v-6)
NoThey are too slick and won't stick to each other as they are spun They make good fire starter though.
i could say that's on the intense endi could say that the main costly issues they are hitting you for are the pad and rotors, and the batterythose vehicle shops have maximum consumers familiar with paying intense costs for brake jobs, while in fact they are inexpensive (strictly talking approximately changing the pads and rotars, not the ABS gadget, etc.)The battery i'm guessing shouldn't value over $sixty 5you will desire to try this your selfi could attempt to discover a save that would do it for below $450.
Quaker State 5W30, Maxxcell ( Interstate Battery repackaged, Interstate is a second choice), Bear Brakes or Brembo (if i spelt them right seconed choice is Satisfied brand brakes), I usually go to Autovalue, or Napa, or i call MaxxcellI work in a garage and get deals at most automotive parts places in my area.
