Question:

Can you use a fused quartz object as a phase conjugate mirror?

I was just wondering, is it possible to use a fused quartz object as a phase conjugate mirror? If so, how? If not, why not? I was doing some research and found out that they have somewhat simillar properties. If I can't use a fused quartz object as a phase conjugate mirror, what else can be used as a phase conjugate mirror? Please provide good info. Thank you.

Answer:

Quartz =Silica: Melting point 1650 (±75) °C Boiling point 2230 °C F=CX1.8 + 32.
