Question:

Can you use woolite for darks in a whirpool duet he front loader washing machine?

I love my washing machine. I only am scared to use my favorite product in the washer because it's not an he detergent. I realize woolite is extra sensitive soap, but still it doesn't say or recommend using in an he washer. I don't want to ruin my hoses. I've heard that if you don't use the he soap you will clog your lines. HELP!!!!!!!

Answer:

You need to find a HE detergent you like don't use the whoolite it might damage your machine.
I don't think it's safe. When my washing machine is spinning, on level floor, really fast, it wobbles. Imagine yours wobbled too and fell. You could damage it and end up spending more money :/ Sell your old stuff for a bit of extra cash. I did that with my old washing machine. I have a tumble dryer, it's small so I just placed it on top of the kitchen counter, near the window. It doesn't move when spinning and it's very light. If yours is big and heavy, I wouldn't suggest having it on top. Maybe stick it in your bedroom until you find better storage around your house? Good luck.
Woolite makes an HE formula for your new machine, so you won't have to go without! They actually make a dark wash too if you're so inclined. The entire cleaning process is turned on its side with a front loader. It requires a lot less water and the cleaning/agitation process (picking up and dropping clothing into the small pool of water) will likely cause too many suds using a regular detergent.
