Can You Wrap A Package In Masking Tape If Your Sending It In The Mail?
A friend got a lovely denim blue leather sofa for about $3000 and it was very comfortablefor about a weekcause that's when her dog chewed up the cushions while she was working in her vet clinic attached to the houseI will not tell you what her husband, also a vet, said when he got home, but I still remember itThe dog (a Bulldog) was not a chewer, but he liked that sofa, he liked it a lot LOL! Her dog had never done anything like that before, but somehow the leather must have attracted him; expensive Italian leather must taste really goodThat being said, I reluctantly bought a SUV w cream colored leather seats I have 8 dogs and it has held up very nicely w/ routine precautions maintenanceIt will scratch, so you do have to watch the nails or keep an old blanket over it.
I think leather is a good idea to deal with animal hairIt wipes right offI have leather in my car and when our dogs ride in there it is much easier to clean than the cloth seats I had in my old car They also sell leather treatments and scratch erasers for leather furniture if your dogs were to jump up and scratch the couch I have not had an instance where a cat would scratch leatherI believe they, at least my cats, prefer soft materials to scratch like fabric and carpetI think leather is a good choice.
We had a 125 lb german shepard and a white leather couch along with a cat we never had a problem with the cat and if your dogs are well behaved like mine was the couch should hold up perfectly although i wouldn't recommend a white leather couch and a dog there hard to clean
No you must use transparent mailing tape or simply mailing tapeYou can't use duct tape, electrical tape, masking tape, aluminum tape, or any other tape outside the packageFedex or UPS, however, may use duct tape for its strength on a very large parcelBut that would be the exception.
