I have a 1997 Chrysler Cirrus. I can unlock the door but when I go to open it the alarm goes off. And when I sit in the car and wait for it to go off then try to start the car it goes off again. I really need the car for school and work. What in the world is going on?
Your car alarm isnt being deactivated there for your car is still armed, when you open the door you release the trigger so the alarm sounds, and turning the key alerts the immobilzer and it sets it off again.
Maybe some sort of setting is set on your car to automatically do what it is doing if you have the manual, look through it, or just deal with the alarm if it goes off right away after you make it!
