It probably is what you think. I've heard that they use whale parts to make some brands of lipstick so I wouldn't be surprised if they used parts of other animals in cosmetics. =X
It probably is cranes bill unfortunately. You could always contact the manufacturer be sure. They should have a number somewhere on the packaging. Lots of animals are used in cosmetic products. Sharks, whales and other fish are commonly used in lipstick ground beetle shell is used in most kinds of makeup. All you can do is use it up, because if you waste it then that animal died for nothing. If it really creeps you out, give it to someone who would use it. If I were you, I wouldn't buy this primer again... :S Hope this helps xx
