Okay I own this honda Prelude that came with this stupid beep beep car alram that i suspect its after market., Alarm goes off every time i open a door for no reason and annoying, reckon its malfunction. So i wanna cut it off, today at the right corner under the drivers dash board i found a small box that most people say resembles the alarm , it has many many wires connected to it, how do i remove it? do i cut off the whole thing? all wires and everything? If i remove the alarm will my car still make the reverse noise( that every car makes while reversing-beeeeeeep Beeeeeeep)Or How can i be sure if that is the alarm and is there any better way to do the jobgt; ?
I would not cut wires, you say it just beeps, no headlight flashing or non starting. What beeps? The Horn? unplug the horn
I'm guessing it's the same thing with the Honda Acura. Yep.
take it to an alarm / stereo place, they do a bunch of these and will probably recognize it rithg off. they should be able to remove it w/o causeing a problem for a minimal fee.
