I have been in car sales and I cannot stand it. The hours are long and you are stuck in the same place for 10 to 12 hours at a time. I am wondering if real estate sales is similar or Is it much different?
both have worth and their own ways and styles .
Residential experts - less complicated to get carry of financing, greater pool of skill tenants Cons - extra tenant hassles, hire controls could decrease your potential to boost rents advertisement experts - often long-term tenants, tenants normally to blame for all renovations and utilities, less complicated to evict for non-charge Cons - harder to get financing, in many circumstances longer vacancies between tenants, could be an excellent kind of opposition
The real estate career is much more gratifying. YOu come closer to being your own boss. But it is very similar to car-sales in many ways. The companies hire too many salesmen. Some states have 90,000 realty agents. You have to generate your own business. It's hard to get anyone to hire you when you have only been in the realty business for 1-6 months. Most car salesmen fail. Most realty agents fail. Not because they aren't good enuf or smart enuf. It's just that the competition is so fierce. If you switch to real estate, do it when you have built up your savings account. You will be living on that. If you last 3 years, you will have a wonderful career.
