can anyone offer some advice on how to get wood stain out of california berber carpet?
Hi okorder simply click on tips hope this helps
Turpentine or paint thinner in a small amount on a rag then dab at the spot. We do this when the guy I paint with drips paint on carpet. We paint houses and he is always dripping paint. I could choke him sometimes.
EASY, take tissue and tape it down over the effected area. Hate to tell you but the more you try to get it out the more you will spread it. After taping on affectected area cut a rectangal piece if you have the same carpet in any closet. Then take that piece, cut around it at a corner of the closet and switch them out. Glue down each and weight down. Is the way the proffesionals do it if not to big. Berber is perfect for this type of thing. Just use enough glue and maybe even glue the sides on the bottom of the pieces so they do not ravel.
Virtually impossible. Professionals use a product called Stain Magic that may get rid of some or if you're lucky all of it. I would not suggest cutting berber because your new piece of carpet will not match very well. At least that's what my husband was told when he went to school to learn how to clean carpets.
What colour is the carpet? When we moved into our house there was a very dark brown stain in the middle of the pink carpet. We'd had the carpets cleaned but it remained. I got some bleach and a pink Chux (I don't know whether you have this product where you are but it is a think cleaning cloth). The bleach removed the stain out of the carpet and the pink from the Chux was transferred to the carpet. You can now not tell at all where the stain was.
