Definitely no! It is the imbalances in dynamic condition that causes wheel shimmy!
Ceramic brake pads are probably the hardest type. Hard brake pads often squeek or squeel or run too hot. It depends a great deal on the pad manufacturer, and the driver. You had best use the original OEM brake pads for combination city and highway driving. If the brakes are erratic and overheating, best to look for some other solution. I like sintered metallic pads for a 4200 pound German Car yielding more stopping power.
