i just dont like the look of metal.heard bad things about ceramic like how it can wear down the teeth?you get more appointments checkups ,its really fragile can take longer. but less noticeable what was your experience or what have you heard?but also the in ovation c braces have less appointments checkups,are faster and gentler. They‘re like white braces but they are slightly more noticeable than the ceramic in my opinion?what do you think are ceramic braces worth it?
In Ovation C brackets are ceramic. If used properly by an experienced and well-trained orthodontist, ceramic brackets do not wear down the teeth. Ceramic brackets from any company are going to be more fragile than metal. If you haven't already done so, you need to have an appointment with an orthodontist who can explain all your options and help you make the best decision for you. **EDIT** We don't use the In Ovation brackets in the office where I work so I can't speak from experience regarding those. With some ceramics, there is more friction so treatment can take longer. Also, even with ceramics, people are going to see that you have something on your teeth. Several of our adult patients decided on metal because they preferred that other people just know they had braces rather than wonder, what's on her teeth? Good luck with your decision.
