Is silicon and ceramic tile caulk the same thing?Is there a way to make more silicon come out of the tube while using the pump you put the tube in? Thanls
Silicone and most ceramic tile caulks are generally not the same. If its a caulk to match a grout color it is not the same. Check the clean up method on each . Silicone needs mineral spirits or a strong cleaner similar. If its a water clean up , its latex based and completely different. Both have there usages. Silicone will dry hard but can be a bit flexable to the touch. Latex based caulks will dry very hard. The only way to get more to come out of the caulk gun is to cut a bigger hole in the tip of the tube. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
