Question:

Ceramic Vs. Porcelain

Why are Ceramic Flat Irons better than Porcelain Flat Irons?

Answer:

Get a spray bottle of soapy water and find out where it's leaking. If it's in the main tread and aren't a sport rider, there really isn't any reason not to plug it. I have plugged many tires over the years and not had a problem. I don't have $300 to throw down for a new mounted tire every time I pick up a nail. If I had the cash, I would probably still plug a tire. If it's done properly, it's no more likely to fail than you are to get a flat for tons of other reasons. Just be sure your tire doesn't already have a tube in it for some reason. If it's leaking at the valve, you are in luck. That's super cheap and easy to fix. If it's at the bead, you will need to have it remounted and possibly tubed depending on the condition of your rim. I don't hate fix a flat for what it's really designed for. It will get you home in an emergency. It's just not a very good substitute for actually finding out the problem.
