i am playing elder scrolls iv oblivian and im on the imperial library and i cant finish it because it wont let me sit in the reading chair to try and receave the elder scroll for the theaves guild. any help would be great tahnks
You need to have gotten to the chair in the library without being seen, or killing, any of the guards. Not worry about the priests seeing you as they are blind its the Imperial guard who cant see you Having done that stand to one side of the chair so that it is highlighted by your cursor and then just activate it as you would a door or a chest and you will sit down. Once you sit the scroll is delivered to you and you can steel it and make good your escape. If you were seen and challenged by any of the Imperial guard unfortunately you'll have to reload a previous save.
