Heyy, i recently got a MacBook Aluminum 13'I have a few files in the MacBook Aluminum which i want to copy in my external hard disk , but i always get a message that quot; The item cannot be copied as the hard disk cannot be modifiedquot;I checked the sharing and permission information of the hard disk , which is quot; READ ONLYquot;, i want to change it to quot; READ AND WRITEquot;Can someone please help me with that??Thanks :)

Hi ! Click on the lock icon just under where u see the permissions in the ''Get info'' window, enter ur computer password and change the permissions thenif its a folder, dont forget to click beside the lock icon a little menu where you can apply to all the files enclosedKnow as well that sometimes you can ''play'' with the place where is the original file, for example move it firstly to the desktop, and then move it somewhere elsefor example when I play with the file in the Dock package (in CoreService), I can't do anything in itI need to manually copy outside the Dock package and modify, and then delete the thing in Dock package and then copy the modified from desktop to Dock packageAll of this to tell you, that maybe THE PLACE where is your file doesnt allow you to do so much thing, like ehre maybe move to an external deviceDon't knowit's ideasbut i always find a wayEnjoy it !
