My friend and I are starting a charity (with the help of our parents) My friend is an amazing singer and I love to dance. We wanted to do something in the preforming arts but we don't now what to do exactly. Do anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!!
Going into schools where they have cut arts funding is amazingly helpful. I myself volunteer teach Fine Art in a small community school where art has been cut all together. You could also organize a performing group that entertains people who need a smile, like in a Children's Hospital, Assisted Living Facility, Group Homes for children or disabled adults. Or raise money to open a Performing Arts studio that teaches performing arts to underprivileged students, or work with an existing Community Center to look into funding or creating a Performing Arts class. It's a great cause, and I hope this gets you going!
