Hi,I have looked at palletline and its ?70?Its a drinks machine on a pallet that i need picking up from kent and delivered to berkshire? Thanks
An huge bon fire :-) If you want to take the time. Take out all the boards with an claw hammer and you got your self a bunch of 2x4 with nail holes. (Can easily be sealed by an wood putty)
use a nail puller, clean the boards then pass them through a planer , you will be amazed at what you end up with. ther is many different woods such as boxwood ,poplar etc. used for pallets all great for small projects.
We made compost bins and a sawhorse. For the compost bin, you start with four pallets, set so that the boards run horizontal, and lash them together with leather straps, heavy twine, clothesline rope, whatever. For three sides, tie it together with knots, but on the fourth side, tie it like a shoelace so you can open it like a gate when you want to get the compost out. You can leave your rake, hoe, spade, etc in the space between the two sets of boards that make up each pallet wall. You can take the top board or two off of two pallets, lean them together so they intertwine, and use them as a sawhorse. We do this when we are cutting wood down to stove size. Here's a link to a picture of the pallet sawhorses, since I'm not explaining well.
Four of them will make a fairly good compost bin but only for a year or twom then they rot away. I did get three brand new pallets with a shipment of retaining wall bricks. I used that wood to made a couple of bird houses. Since most pallet wood is of unknown species, it is not good for a fireplace but okay for an outdoor fire.
hi I tried to seperate slats to use in any carpentry but found they broke many times so now I use it for fire wood after removing nails
