Can anyone recommend a good online yarn store which offers the lowest prices for good yarn, like Debbie Bliss, Koigu, Sirdar, etc?Additionally, is their service reliable? As in, do the goods arrive within a reasonable time period, and do they arrive in good condition? It would be a plus if they ship internationally too.I am looking for personal testimonials please, like if you or your family/friends have bought their products/services yourselvesI've done the Googling, so no Google-references necessary, thanks!
Your rabbit is making a burrow because she wants to have babies it dose not mean she is cold( I am in 4-h so I now my stuff) it does not matter if he puts the blankets around her cage it won't affect her burrowingShe will not make burrows after a couple of months she is fine don't stress she just wants to mate and be a mom.
It's fine if he wants toHe isn't hurting the rabbit in any wayRabbits can survive very cold temperatures (mine is outside, and I still see him stretching out on his stomach and napping in 20°F weather)If he wants to keep it up he can, as long as the rabbit isn't eating the papers or anythingBut it's nice that he cares so much about the rabbit, and is so worried about it being coldAppreciate that he likes the rabbit.
There is nothing wrong with covering the cage (they even sell/make special cage covers for small pets)For the winter times, a blanket over the cage helps block out drafts, and it does help them retain heatI did this for all my smaller pets during the winter timesAnd just because an animal has fur, doesn't mean they don't ever get coldI have a mini husky with plenty of fur, but there are many times she gets up in the middle of the night and crawls under the bed covers and sleeps (and this is in SoCal).
How many times are you going to ask the same question? Your uncle shouldn't do this, but you already know thatThe main concern isn't the temperature, it's unlikely to get hot enough at normal room temperature to cause any harm or stress, even if the rabbit might be more comfortable a little coolerMy concern would be the lack of ventilation, trapping fumes from urine in the cage and potentially irritating the rabbit's nasal passages and lungsAll you can do is express your concerns and talk to your parentsPresumably they should be able to convince him to stop, since he's unlikely to listen to a childNo one can force your uncle to stop, and there really isn't anything you can do other than rationally present your case to the adults in your home.
