Question:

Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster?

is chenobyl still unsafe from the radiation or is it safe and why is there a pic of a fish with legs on the internet when i search Chernobyl

Answer:

I recently watched a National geographic special that was done last year, No one will ever be able to live there.I read some one say people live there.Thats not true.Thousands of families surrounding this disaster are dieing from cancer, When this melt down accured workers were offered triple pay to cap the problem, cover the reactor with concrete. All these workers are dead, there families diedPics were shown of hundreds of trucks cranes vehicles used in the clean up They were supposed to be buried,Worker were sick, and no one will enter the area because of high radiationThey will sit there untill the end of timeor untill the levels are safe.Which ever happens first. The radiation from this disaster circled the worldcancer rates measured out from ground zero, lessen at about 1000 miles, Millions were affected and not just russiansCancer rates are just now starting to drop, as radiation is dropping, But this was a horrible disasterFar more people died from this melt down than from the Bombs dropped on japan in WW2, It just took years instead of momentsAfter the accident News agencies stopped reporting about it.There was nothing anyone could do about it.
Yes a good baked potato is cooked at 350 in your oven for about an hour for a medium size and larger about another 20 minuteI would poke the potato first this helps with it not exploding in the oven Enjoy, baked potatoes are very good for you.
I don't wrap mine in foilI rub them with oil, the salt and pepper the skinsPut them on a baking sheet in a high temp (like 450) oven for about an hour, depending on sizeThe skins get crispy and the insides are perfectly baked.
You can wrap in foil if you wantNot nessaryYou only need to poke holes if you are using the microwave Wash potatoeRub w/oil or bacon greasePut into a pre-heated oven at 350 dgs1 hour normally.
Wash them off and dry themThen rub vegetable oil on them and poke holes in them with a forkYou don't have to put them in foil you can put them on a pan and let them cook for about 45-50 minutes on 400-425 degreesBe sure to turn them over once during baking time.
