child safety door lock on the washer machine wont open. its a whirlpool. usually you can just push on the door and it will unlock. it went through its was cycle and is blinking that its done, but the child safety lock wont let me open the door. I have tried turning off the main power, but that didn't work. I can not reach the plug. any suggestions. my clothes are going to mold fast if I leave it in there too long.
