Chinese people make world class high tech machinery, so are their cars any good?

I don't know about cars. However, KYMCO makes a scooter that is reliable and on par with Honda and Yamaha but only costs half as much. I would say it depends on the brand name as there are many cheap chinees scooters that I wouldn't buy.
I wouldn't buy anything from China. Poison baby formula, poison drywall, no industry standards, no Q/A, no ethics.
