Question:

Cleaning a ceramic glass top stove, HELP!?

Hi all, I have had a friend stay over and he was using the stove to heat up his coals for a shisha pipe. In doing so he has burnt/stained the top of the ceramic stove top. Can anyone advise me on what i can do in such a situation? Is it possible to clean off or replolish?the stove top is black and the marks appear as a grey faded area.

Answer:

Go to a Lowes or Home Depot or probably even Walmart and you can find a special ceramic stove top cleaner that will work great for you. I've had one of those stoves for over 20 years and I've had some terrible looking burns on it from spills and they cleaned right up. A few tips. use a damp rag and turn it frequently as you use the cleaer and rub pretty hard. You'll probably need to reapply the cleaner 2-3 times to get it all. When you're done just wipe it all clean with a fresh damp rag and it will look like new. I usually use a single edge razor blade to get off the thicker stubborn areas. Don't hesitate to go at it with a razor either. It won't hurt the top at all. Now go clean that top and stop worrying. It's really no biggie at all. Good luck!
A strut is a shock absorber as well inside your front springs. If you see a slight sign of oil, dont worry,a lot of oil means replaceing. Jump on your front bumper and if it is shot the car will keep bounceing,it should only come back once or twice.slowly.
We have one: when we first got it we assume ez little spills burned-on bits would wipe off: they don't. Regular cleaners don't take them off. We got a little bottle of ceramic/glass stove top cleaner and everything wiped right off - - - don't know what's in the stuff, but the specific product for those tops works.
