Okay so I wanna clean out my bearings, but I dont have any rubbing alcohol, but I do have hydrogen peroxide...I was wondering if it works and how to use it. Plz tell me asap!!! also, does sewing machine lube work to lubricate the bearings?
first of all NEVER use things like hyd. peroxide or sewing machine lube or WD-40. it clots up, collects more dirt and actually can cause more friction between the ball bearings and the shell. and absoloutly never use water, unless you want rusted shackles. only use actual skateboard lubricants, top kind out there right now is Speadcream by Bones.
