Question:

cleaning solution for bearings?

I'm looking for the best and easiest cleaning solution to get that I can use for my skateboard bearings.any suggestions?

Answer:

get a rag wipe it off or take it to a store
Soak it it kerosene or diesel. It will clean and lube at the same time.
To get good in between them use WD-40.I know it's a water displacement, but a great cleaner,if there's any rust in between them it sure will get it out and make the bearings look new. After you spray the WD-40 in them get a little bit of oil, like sewing machine oil.
look for a bones bearing cleaner online, only 5$, use a mixture of paint thinner and cleaning solvents. DO NOT use water based solvents or WD-40, they will clean your rust for now, BUT soon the rust will double to its original.
I use denatured alcohol..It is inexpensive and can be found at any hardware or paint store. Some paint thinners and other petroleum based solvents can leave a film that attracts dirt and breaks down the lubricant. After cleaning, only use a lubricant designed for skateboard bearings. Do not use WD 40. It attracts dirt and its lubrication properties are short lived.
