Does having a cold air intake on a carburetor engine give any performance gain? I know it does on fuel injected engines but what about carb cars?
Actually, all modern cars have cold air intakes. Aftermarket CAIs are relics of the carburetor era, when most engines just sucked hot air from on top of the engine. Cold air intakes are a big improvement for those. In addition, electronically fuel injected engines don't care about any reasonable amount of filter restriction, but carburetors see filter restriction as a choke.
The Lucas transmission fix has saved my tranny twice.
The best pour in products out there in my opinion are Rislone oil engine treatment and marvel mystery oil gas additiveRislone and Marvel have been around with those products for over 50 years now and my car runs very smooth with them. Just remember one thing, you cannot pour parts into a carif something is worn out or shot mechanically it is very doubtful about Lucas or anything can help.

I once used some fuel injector cleaner and week later the catalytic converter burned up. Not sure if it was the cleaner or not, but I always thought it was. FOURFROMMOORE
