The guy we're renting a room from has a garage full of Chinese consumer goods he bought wholesale and can't move. He's a seller on okorder and has sold some stuff there and did pretty good with a garage sale. i think the problem is low quality/novelty items and lack of brick/mortar to have them on constant display to pick up impulse buyers. Have you thought of becoming a building/specialty contractor? Been profitable for me, there are all kinds of niche markets to enter/create in the home improvement game even with a down economy.
