im finnaly getting my first car and im looking at this 05 mustang but its a v6 and i want some performance exhaust, i do exhaust work but not a lot of performance mods and im still learning from my uncle and my uncle knows nothing about cool air intake lmao. anyway, would that be a good idea?
Did you use fixaflat before having it repaired? If you did then there is your problem.
On a inventory V6 you frequently won't even think it, but for a mod, it's beautiful low cost, so some thing you wish to have to do. It might aid a little bit bit in a while should you do extra mods too.
Hell no there is a reason that v6 id cheaper its because that crappy v6 is no good I don't care what performance anything you stick on it its crap. This year mustangs have a 300 plus hp v6 the 05 does not your going to be very disappointed in the performance no matter what you do. Go buy a v8 and live long and be happy people get on here every week and cry and whine oh how do I do a v8 swap on a mustang. simple answer you don't its better to but a v8 now and stop worrying about it best of luck before putting a performance anything on your old mustang call your mechanic and find out what the mechanic thinks about how many performance parts are on a v6
