Question:

Cool Air Intake?

Cool Air Intake?Im looking to purchase a cool air intake for my 1998 sebring convertible jxi. I‘ve been looking for a while, and i can‘t seem to find any? i‘ve looked with aem, kn, and several others. where else should i look?also if i can‘t find a cold air intake, what would be the best substitue?

Answer:

magnettic metals are ferrous metals, and include iron, nickel and colbalt. There are also alloys which contain one of those three metals such as steel.
Iron (steel) cobalt and nickel are elements that are magnetic. .
allright i have to say it i build race cars and hot rods, and iam a mechanic. a cool air intake and exhaust system a hot rod it dont make. as for things i found why not create one. there are a whole lot of things i have to make for some of my dirt cars.look at it all it is is a direct air path to the t body, see what sensors are there . and think about it i mean hell i put ford 9 inch rear ends in chevy race cars, and change auto trans to be control by ball valves a have no tourqe converters in the trans. its about imagination and trial and error.
typicaly you wont bea ble to find a cold air take for a normal car like a sebring. However you can jerrry-rig one out of PVC pipes and/or dryer hose. it doesnt look good but it does workdont believe me?! try it out.
Lots of metals are magnetic. Ferromagnetic materials (such as Iron) carry a permanent magnetic moment. Paramagnetic materials can have a magnetic moment induced in them by bringing a ferromagnet within close proximity, but will return to a non-magnetic state in the absence of a magnetic field. Ferromagnetic list: cobalt | gadolinium | iron | nickel Paramagentic list: aluminum | americium | barium | calcium | cerium | cesium | dysprosium | erbium | europium | hafnium | holmium | iridium | lanthanum | lithium | lutetium | magnesium | manganese | molybdenum | neodymium | niobium | osmium | oxygen | palladium | platinum | plutonium | potassium | praseodymium | protactinium | rhenium | rhodium | rubidium | ruthenium | samarium | scandium | sodium | strontium | tantalum | technetium | terbium | thorium | thulium | titanium | tungsten | uranium | vanadium | ytterbium | yttrium | zirconium
