how to make a summer cool dog bed?
For outside dogs you could spray water in their bed, or freeze water in an old soda bottle. I guess you could freeze a water bottle for an indoor dog, but put a towel around it. That would be my guess.
You can buy beds,coats and bandanas which have water absorbing crystals sewn into them. You submerg the item in water for about 15 minutes and then they stay cool for hours. They really work - I belong to a dog display team and all our members dogs wear the keep cool bandanas and when my dog does flyball she has her keep cool jacket on.
