We recently made our attic an additional room from the outside I have invested in a stand up cooling system that puts out 10,000 bc but it is still very hot upstairs we have a vent from downstairs as well what would be the best thing to do to stay cool and not so exspensive on the light bill
Best thing is to heavily insulate the outside of the room- that will keep the heat outMake sure you get a vapor barrier in place as wellBut insulation is the best thing to keep the heat out, and in when it is cool.
probably if you dye it for too long it could come out darker.
