someone told me my cats rare even though hes a red tabby cuz he has copper colored eyes and i was wondering if its true out of curiosity, i love my baby so much so dont worry its not like i want to sell im just curious
With certain breeds, like the Persian, a red tabby is supposed to have copper-colored eyes, so I'd say it's not rare at all for that combination to turn up in a mixed breed cat. I've seen quite a few.
Not ever heard they are rare, but sounds very Beautiful! Red Tabby's usually are called Ginger Tabbys and they are indeed special! as they are all, special really! Polydactals, are rare, those are the ones with extra toes,as 1 Usually only born to a litter, and may not see another, for many many litters even when both or one of the parents, are polydactal. Also,to ever have/see a male calico,is extremely rare,as they are always born, female.
