Question:

Cost of building a dream home in Missouri?

Sometimes I like to imagine what I would do if I ever won the lotteryJust wondering what I would be getting myself into here with the price for my 'dream home' :-)How much do you think it would cost to build a home in the quiet country area of Missouri with 4 bedrooms, a mini private movie theater, a solarium, a grotto, a four car garage, a one lane bowling alley, a small go-cart track, indoor pool, sauna, office/library, music room, play room for the kids, workshop, art room, a center courtyard, a front courtyard, a workout room, a fruit-tree orchard, greenhouse, and a mini-farm (like a couple of cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and rabbits)?I'm only going into detail to get a decently accurate guess.

With the information you provided no one can with any certainly give you an answer to your questionWe can all guess as to the costWhat is missing in providing an answer is the number of square feet would you want in the houseAre you gonna have such things marble slab in any of the rooms, importing certain stones and material to build the houseHow many stories would be in the house or would it be a sprawling estate with separate gyms around the propertyHow many acres of land do you plan to utilize to make this dream house of yours a reality and do you currently own the land? Is the property zoned for this type agriculture Then since it will be a farm how large of silo and barn would you expect to build, fencing for the animalsI would suggest that you speak with a local contractor with your ideas so he might put these ideas on paper, therefore he would indicate the amount for material and laborI might venture to say building this type house in Missouri would be considerably less than building this same structure in California Your dream home would be in the range of $900,000 to 1.5 million in Missouri.the value after completion would be around $3.5 million to $4 millionIt would take about 9 months to a year to complete the main house and approximately another year to complete the surrounding buildings to make your mini farm work, such as the silo, barns, irrigation system, fences, the necessary roads to navigate the farmI can not imagine what you going without elevators if you are going to have more than 3 stories, that is even with an elaborate stairwayIf there are no city utilities there you would have to install several propane tanks for gas generators for electrical systemsYour home would also have to be wired for media reception, such as cable, Wii systems in all rooms I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck FIGHT ON
Put the shoulder in the crock pot fat side up so that while it's cooking all the fat juices will run down through the meat and make it tenderCook it on high overnight if it's frozen and it'll be falling apart in the morningYou can also put some red potatoes and baby carrots in with it or even pour a jar of salsa over it while it's cooking.
I don't know if you are joking or not , but pork shoulder must be cooked low and slow , and thoroughlyBout 225 - 250 Ffor 5-8 hoursBy the way , a crock pot is slow and low and moistIf you try to cook it high and fast it will not be pleasant That is one reason the cut is so cheapIf you do it right the meat will fall apart and the fat will keep it moist Pulled pork is one of my favorites but it does take a while to cook I have to start it early.
Pork should always be well cooked, not slightly pinkPork won't dry out if cooked properly, and should always be cooked slowly! You should score the fat on the outside, rub with salt, this makes the skin, fat side, nice and crispyPut in oven with bit of water in roast pan, and put an apple in the roast pan tooThis gives the pork a nice flavor and nice smellCook on 180cfor about 2 hours, if the shoulder weighs about 2 1/2 kilo's)When tested, the juices should be clear, not pink!
