Anyone know how to paint countertops? I read somewhere that it could be done for a quick fix for outdated counters.
look for paints that are suitible for wet locations, like Boats or Docks. they would be pretty durable. Possible Floor paints. I would only worry about food contact surfaces. I am tiling my counters. It is less than $2/sqft. Just takes a little work.
It wouldnt be near as durable as a new countertop but there is some pretty tough urethane paints, check with a paint store, not the paint counter at Walmart but a real paint store, they can help.
