Custom reptile tank question!?

I'm going to be building a larger tank for my uromastyx. I tried in the past to me ledges for him out of excavator clay but he is so heavy (and he clawed at them) that he can't really sit on them comfortably. Is there a good way to make a sturdy ledge that would wrap around a corner? I'd put it on the side he basks on so he can get closer to the lamp if he wants :)

Custom Reptile Tank
Use PVC piping to support the ledge. Cover the pipes in clay to make them look more natural. Use something like a food grade silicone to secure the ledge to the wall. I'd do something like this: 1x piece of wood cut to size and (optional) covered in clay to make look more natural 6x PVC pipe cut to the height you want the ledge from the bottom of the tank. 1x tube of food grade air dry silicone Put one PVC pipe on each of the four corners of the wood. Connect them with silicone to the wood. Place the remaining two at the corners of the wood where it forms the corners of the ledge. Silicone all to the tank. Here's a simple paint drawing I made to demonstrate what I meant. Of course, it's not going to be just what you want. You have to change it to meet your own needs. (Brown is the ledge. White inside black outlined box is the tank. White circles are the PVC pipe. Everything would be silicone-ed in place.
