I have a 1998 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, and soon it may need a new exhaust system. I‘m looking at performance exhausts, but honestly, i have no idea where to start. Any good brands? websites? and how much will it probably set me back?

You can either wire an electrical power take-out to your batter, or cut the plug off and attach a couple of small battery jumper cable clamps. You can find 110V chargers but you they aren't useful except at home. The kind that recharges is the size of a car battery.
modifying the exhaust is against the law in some state's you should check before you do it.
