Question:

DeWalt Impact Wrench?

OK, on the DeWalt DW294 Heavy-Duty 3/4quot; (19mm) Impact Wrench with Detent Pin Anvil does the 3/4 mean that the maximum size socket that can go on that is 3/4? Can other smaller sockets go on these impact wrenches? Any other info would be nice,Thanks!

Answer:

Problem solving is two words, not a hyphenated wordToo many people try to hyphenate $it that doesn't need hyphensYes, it's human relationsThen again, it's also English communications and computer operations.
You may find that wrapping emery cloth round the aluminium will stop it from slippingI would get a strip and fold it in half, wrap it round the aluminium so that the emery side is in contact with the chuck AND the aluminium.
Are you using standard samples (dumbbell shaped samples) ? Because that shouldn't slip out.
how do you have a 3/4 impact wrench and not know what it is used for?? take it back to who stole it and ask for your money backthe only people who would need an impact this size would be for industrial type repairs, like a fork lift or tow truck or a cranenobody in a normal house would ever need a 3/4 even a professional auto repair business would only use a 1/2you certainly dont know what you have and need to give it back to the rightful owner.
