Older or intense mileage diesel automobile reply extremely nicely to redex contained in the gas. All that redex does is wreck down the carbon that builds up contained in the cylinder head, for sure diesel engines run plenty dirtier than petrol engines so the answer extremely nicely. Ja.
The best stuff on the market that has been around a very long time is Howe's. It smells like Sloan's Lineament. (spelling) All the old school truckers used it year round but especially in the winter as an anti-gel additive. Never saw any sweet smelling stuff while working at Mayflowers Transport Service back in the 1990's. Good Luck!
