I suggest either going with the epoxy mentioned above, or fiberglass. You might put the biggest part of both patch on the backside if it is obtainable, and just a small quantity on high to maintain the tub watching as pleasant as possible. I used fiberglass on a out door hot bathtub with excellent results. That you could buy fiberglass at a automobile provide retailer, but be careful of the fumes when making use of it. Have just right air flow or wear a respirator for natural and organic gasses. The fiberglass would make an extended lasting patch, as epoxy seems to weaken over time.
